Brad Paisley has finally accomplished his goal. After several failed attempts Sunday to debut a 27-second preview of his new song "Crushin' It," the country star was finally successfully in unveiling a minute-and-a-half-long clip of the song Monday through People.com.
At one point the People.com preview had been blocked as well, but included a link to the clip on YouTube. The People clip was later restored, with the headline "Listen to Brad Paisley's New Song 'Crushin' It' - Legally!"
Prior to achieving success Paisley was lamenting the trouble he was having in sharing his music. He asked in a tweet, "When are the powers that be going to give up" and allow him to "be the wild and free ghost panther" he "was born to be?"
When are the powers that be going to give up and allow me to be the wild and free ghost panther I was born to be? Ha! Hang on.— Brad Paisley (@BradPaisley) July 29, 2014
"Crushin' It" is one of the tracks on Paisley's upcoming album, Moonshine in the Trunk. The disc, which also features Brad's current single, "River Bank," will be released on August 25th.
